Official Shirt Design and Color

Here are the official designs for the front and back of this year's KMHS Science Club T-shirts! Thank you to everyone that submitted a design! This year's t-shirt is going to look awesome!

9/6/11 Meeting

In case you missed the meeting today, here's a brief recap:

• Science Bowl
• Science Bowl teams/subjects
• Walton invitational (if they're doing it again this year)
• Adopt-a-Mile
• Dates will be assigned soon
• Campus Clean-up 
• Science club's designated area

At the beginning of the meeting, we discussed Science Bowl and subject assignments. The subjects are:

Physics

Earth Science

Biology

Chemistry

Energy

Math

*Physics and Energy may be grouped together.

If you are interested in joining science bowl, let Mrs. Ingle know as soon as possible and choose the topic you want. We are looking for 100% commitment this year. 

Some upcoming events will be the Walton Invitational (if applicable), Adopt-a-Mile, and Campus Clean-up. For campus clean-up, we will be designated an area of the school to clean up each time one is scheduled. Adopt-a-Mile will take place in the course of the next few weeks, so keep that in mind.

Science Club T-shirt Design

T-shirt Design:

This is my own contribution for the designs of the Science Club t-shirts. If you are a super crazy awesome artist or photoshop genius, please email any t-shirt designs to KMHSScienceClub@gmail.com or bring them with you next meeting. If you have any suggestions for designs we should consider doing, feel free to e-mail those ideas as well. Remember, we need a design for the back and the front of the t-shirt.

For this design, I was thinking putting it on the back of the t-shirt and having all of the Science Club members sign their name below it. (Critiques are great as well as color recommendations)

Important Dates:

Next Tuesday, August 30th, there will be a general Science Club meeting in the morning from 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM and Science Bowl practice after school probably from 3:30 to 4:30.

Next Wednesday, August 31st, there will Science Olympiad practice after school probably from 3:30 to 4:30.

Welcome to the Blog!

Hello Science Club members! Welcome to the blog I currently have set up. You should be getting invites to be part of the Science Club facebook group soon, but I would also like to this blog up as well. This will work very similiarly to the teacher's blogs at school. I will be posting any important dates and times, and I will also be posting pictures, videos, and downloadable documents here as well.
